Convert Iftar

Couple of nights ago I had the good pleasure of attending a convert iftar in another city. There were other people there but it was a night set aside mainly for us. I got to see some familiar faces and some new ones too. It was so much fun to have a feeling of inclusion for a change. It was great to hear how some new muslims came to Islam including one who said it was her study of funerals in different faiths that caught her attention. She was impressed by how muslims conduct this important rite.After the dinner I went to have a look at the sale they had which included books and clothes. After all that fun we stopped at Popeyes to pick up some chicken for sahoor.
