Why I think the mosque near ground zero is a good idea.

With all the negative talk surrounding this mosque I thought it was refreshing to read this. I came across this by accident while looking for something else but I thought I'd share it with you. Its encouraging to see non-muslims that are open-minded towards this issue.

  1. What a nice article mashallah. I just posted it to my facebook page. I've recently come across a few article like this, siding with the Imam. You really see what Americans are thinking when you read the comments though.

  2. I was surprised that this one had no comments. Must have been overlooked. I'm glad that you are spreading the word :)

  3. Here's another article I really enjoyed: http://www.zeropartypolitics.com/2010/08/ground-zero-mosque-hysteria-americans.html

You'll see one of the comments that show how ignorant some people still are, it just blows my mind sometimes that people still believe everything CNN and FOX are propagating.

That article was very well-written. I especially like this sentence:
Note to neo-con drones: they can’t hate us for our freedom, if we have no freedom left to hate.

The guy is right on the money and I love the fact that he actually answers the people who comment. Usually there is no answer the comments become uglier and uglier.
